Kelli Lynn Valero (nee Hotkiewicz), age 53, of Tucson, Arizona (formerly of Sauk Village, Illinois), died peacefully and entered Heaven on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Valero; her brother, Frank Hotkiewicz (along with his partner, Marylynn Roberts); her four sisters, Della Tessling (and her partner, Al Voticke), Alline Miller (and her husband, Larry), Alline Bibro (and her husband, Steve) and Selina Taylor (and her partner, Tommy Callazo); sister-in-law, Bonnie Hotkiewicz; nephews, Frank Tessling, Neil Hotkiewicz, Anthony Taylor and Dustin Corr; nieces, Dawn Wilson (along with her husband, David), Alana Petrucci, Lilyanna Bibro and Kaylin Bibro; aunts, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. Kelli was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Hazel Hotkiewicz; her sister, Ellen Hectoen; her brother, Benny “Duffy” Hotkiewicz; her nephew, Adam Hotkiewicz and her niece, Lorena Hotkiewicz. Kelli was a 1986 graduate of Hammond Baptist High School. She and Joe started a new path in their lives when they moved to AZ after she retired from YRC Freight in 2019 and began working at Reliant Well Drilling and Pump Corporation. A viewing will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Memory Lane Funeral Home, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, Indiana. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with a two-hour visitation prior to the start of the service at Memory Lane Funeral Home.
