William "Butch" Van Duyn

William "Butch" Van Duyn, 60, of Dyer, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. He was born in Hammond, Indiana to William & Marilyn Van Duyn. He is survived by his parents: William & Marilyn Van Duyn; his siblings: Verla (Chris) Demopoulos, and Brian Van Duyn; his niece & nephews: Gregory (Maria) Demopoulos, Nicholas Demopoulos, Melissa Demopoulos, and Alex Van Duyn; his great nieces & nephews: Alexi, Eli, Eva, Ari, Kloe, Myles, and Ezra; and numerous beloved cousins. He is also survived by his stepson, Christopher (Kelly) Valois and their children: Jayden, Max and Brianna; Butch and his Dad were favorite fishing buddies! Butch's favorite hobby was fishing! Butch worked at G & N Aircraft as a mechanic and the employees there were like his second family. When able, he loved spending time with his family and friends, and going fishing.
